Admission Criteria:

Candidates must satisfy the following criteria to apply for this programme.

  • General, NC-OBC and EWS Category: Minimum 60% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations, Maximum 20 years of age as on June 30, 2023

    SC,ST and PWD (DAP) Category: Minimum 55% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations, Maximum 20 years of age as on June 30, 2023

Note 1: Candidates who are likely to complete standard XII/ HSC or equivalent by the end of June 2023 can also apply, subject to meeting the minimum eligibility criteria after the declaration of results (only in case of XIIth standard) as mentioned above. If selected, such candidates will be offered admission to the programme provisionally. At the time of registration for the programme, such candidates must produce X and XII standard mark sheets (securing minimum marks i.e. 60% for General, EWS, and NC-OBC or 55% for SC, ST, and PWD) along with school leaving certificate/migration certificate, failing which the candidate’s admission offer stands canceled.

Note 2: The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in X and XII Standard would be calculated based on the aggregate marks of best five subjects that appear in the mark sheet/grade sheet, irrespective of the Board’s regulation. In case the candidates are awarded letter grades or grade points instead of marks, the conversion of grades to percentage of marks of best five subjects would be based on the procedure certified by the Board/ Competent Authority explaining the method of conversion from where they have obtained the certificate.

Selection Procedure:

Stage I: Online Registration

    • (i) Interested applicants who fulfill the above-mentioned eligibility criteria will fill the registration form that aims at evaluating the applicant’s proficiency in academics as well as in extra-curricular activities.
    • (i) The eligible applicants will pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 4175/- (Four Thousand One Hundred Seventy Five Only)

Stage II: IPM Aptitude Test (IPM AT 2023)

    • (i) All the interested applicants will undergo IIM Rohtak’s IPM Aptitude Test that will examine the aptitude, logical reasoning, and proficiency in English of the applicant.
    • (ii) IPM AT 2023 to be conducted on May 20, 2023 from 9 AM onwards
    • (iii) IPM Aptitude Test will comprise of following sections:

Stage III: Online Personal Interview (PI)

    •  (i) The announcement of Call for Online Personal Interviews (PI) will be done in the First Week of June 2023. The shortlisting will be based on the IPM AT 2023 scores.
    • (ii) The candidates during their personal interviews will be judged on the basis of their academics, general awareness, and communication skills.
    • ( iii) The interviews are proposed to be held in the Second Week of June 2023 (Tentative)

 Stage IV:  Announcement of Selection List and Offer Acceptance

    •  (i) The final Merit List will be generated based on the composite score of IPM AT 2023, Past Academics, and Personal Interview.
    •  (ii) The announcement of Merit/rank List and sending of Offer Letters to the selected candidates will be done by the First Week of July 2023. The candidates receiving the offer letter for IIM Rohtak IPM Admission 2023 and accepting the offer within the stipulated date will require to deposit the Offer Acceptance Amount (as mentioned in the offer letter) through an online payment link.

Stage V: Provisional Admission to IPM 05 (2023-28)

    • (i) The candidates accepting the offer of admission to IPM 05 (2023-28) will be given a confirmation letter. The candidate is required to pay the First Year Programme Fee (as mentioned in the confirmation letter) and needs to report to the institute campus for registration on the stipulated date.
    • (ii) If the candidate registers for the programme in the stipulated date, his/her OAA will be adjusted with the First Year Programme Fee.
    • (iii) Further, on the day of reporting to the campus for registration, the admission team will do physical verification of the documents. In case of online registration, the documents will be verified virtually.
    • (iv) Withdrawal of OAA: In case a candidate withdraws after paying the Offer Acceptance Amount but before paying the first year programme fee, the OAA will be refunded after deducting processing charges of Rs. 1,000/-
    • (v) Withdrawal of Provisional Admission: In case a candidate withdraws before the in-campus/ online registration but after paying the first year programme fee, the first year programme fee will be refunded after deducting processing charges as per the norms.
    • (vi) Last Date for any withdrawal of provisional admission will be ‘On or before the date of Registration’ (online/ on campus as the case may be). No refund of any fee will be permissible after the date of registration.
    • (vii) The academic session will begin in the First week of August 2023. The allocation of the hostel room to the candidate will be done on sharing basis. Hostel rooms for DAP category will be arranged on the ground floor.

Note: 

(i) The admission criteria for IPM 2023-28 may be changed before the declaration of the results.

Total no. of seats:

 Total no. of seats for IPM Batch 2023-28 will be 180 (including 10% of the total seats will be offered to EWS (Economically Weaker Section) candidates). The offer of admission to candidate will be made strictly on the basis of merit/rank list and availability of seats in each category (Gen, SC, ST, NC-OBC, EWS & DAP) as per reservation rules of Govt. of India.

 Registration for IPM Programme:

 Final shortlisted candidates who have deposited Offer Acceptance Amount and got confirmation letter for provisional admission, will be required to report in the campus for registration process followed by physical verification of educational document and other testimonials as per checklist.

 Hostel Allocation:

IIM Rohtak offers full time residential IPM programme. Therefore, institute provide hostel rooms to the students on sharing basis with the following facilities:

  3. Washing machines for washing of select clothing only

 Sports Facilities in the campus that may be available:

Shuttle bus service from the campus:

Institute provides shuttle bus service between the campus and Rohtak city to facilitate pick and drop to the students. IPM students can use this facility once a week on a designated day from 10 AM to 6 PM.

Medical/ Ambulance Service:

IIM Rohtak provides medical/ ambulance services through the empanelment of third-party service providers/ hospitals available nearest to the campus. Students may get ambulance service in case of any emergency and visit the recommended hospitals anytime. The information will be conveyed to the students when they arrive on campus.
